One of the pleasures of self catering is exactly that - you are able to cook and eat exactly what you want, when you want. However, if you are travelling a long way or are expecting to arrive late in the afternoon or evening, an empty cupboard can be a most unwelcoming sight. But every guest has individual needs and tastes, so we think it is wasteful and unnecessary to put a 'standard' selection of goods in for you. Instead, we offer you the option of choosing what sort of things you would like to be in your cottage on arrival, if anything. A simple 'Arrival Pack' will keep you going till you go shopping the next day. Or we can do a larger amount of grocery shopping for you, if you can trust us to buy the right things! Alternatively, the Village Store (01852 500663) in Craobh Haven is open until at least 5.00pm on Saturdays, or you can pick up shopping on your way. There is a good Tesco store in Oban (which is also open on Sundays) and a not-quite-so-good Coop in Lochgilphead. Both are about half an hour from the cottages. If you would like us to put an arrival selection in the cottage for you, please complete and submit this form. Confirmation of the actual cost will be given to you on arrival and we would ask that you reimburse this before you leave at the end of the week. |
